A Community of Life Cyclers

The family and I spent a fun evening at the Life Cycles fundraiser at the Salmar Classic in Salmon Arm. The evening was so much more than just a movie. As well as plenty of opportunities to schmooze with other mountain bikers and trail lovers in the community, there were tons of great door prizes including a KHS DJ50 bike (with alloy dirt jump frame, 16 speed, and disk brakes sponsored by Ridetech and Shuswap Tourism) and three great mountain bike films made by local riders. Attendance was excellent and included all age groups. It was truly a community, family event.

The movie Life Cycles itself featured amazing cinematography. The beauty of the scenery, moving narration and skilled riding made the show a thrilling emotional roller-coaster. I would definitely see it again and may even go looking to purchase my own copy.

I just want to thank the groups and sponsor responsible for this great event (please forgive me and inform of any missing sponsors):
